      After more than ten years’ of investment, attracting foreign investments, and providing customer services , the slogan of the park ---- “high-end services, foreign-capital” has been created, and we have developed a system for efficient communication and close cooperation with local government and foreign clients. These fundamentals are among our most valuable assets.

Government representatives of Zhenhai District signed a letter of intent with the representatives from a Norwegian Investment Corporation in Aug. 2001 in Olso, Norway, preparing to build a Norwegian industrial park together.

In August of 2002, Norway Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Zhenhai Economic Development Zone, and the Norwegian Investment Corporation signed the agreement to construct the Zhenhai Nordic Industrial Park. In this agreement, all the three parties reached a consensus to build an ecological and landscape style Nordic Industrial Park, and to make it an efficient and preferred location for foreign investments into China, in particular for the Nordic countries, but also for rest of Europe.

The park was named as Zhenhai Economic Development Zone Nordic Industrial Park, and was shorten to Nordic Industrial Park for investment attraction purpose.

Ningbo Nordic Industrial Park Co., Ltd. was founded in Sep. 9th, 2002 and was the only foreign company dedicated to attract foreign investment and being based on international management principles in Zhenhai. In the beginning, Ningbo Shitong Investment Development Co., Ltd was responsible for the infrastructure construction (including the construction of standard workshop) and Ningbo Nordic Industrial Park Co., Ltd. was is in charge of the sales and marketing, investments attraction and operation and management. The park is based on Scandinavia architecture, and focused on small and medium size high-tech industry from Nordic, European and American countries.

Opening ceremony of Ningbo Nordic Industrial Park was held in Zhenhai in Nov. 2002. The opening ceremony was attended by officials from the Nordic countries and local government.

In 2003, the first tenant was introduced into the park.

In 2007, the development mode of Nordic Industrial Park was modified, as the Norwegian investors acquired all land and facilities erected at that time, and took full charge and financing of all further development and construction of the park.  Meanwhile, the development strategy of the park was adjusted as well, changing from enterprise-introduction-only to include introduction of a new R&D center and service enterprises.

Nordic Industrial Park finished the construction of 27 production facilities and assembly facilities from 2008 to 2010, which covers 140,000 sqm. They also finished the construction of Class A office buildings and R&D center covering 32,000 sqm.

In 2012, the park was awarded as the “Remarkable Industrial Park” of Zhejiang.

In August of 2013, Hong Kong Yinmao (Asia) Co., Ltd. completed 100% share acquisition of the Ningbo Nordic Industrial Park Ltd. and took charge of the company.

In Dec. 2014, the workshop rent rate reached 99%, the total output of the park reached RMB 1.65 billion, and the total tax revenue reaches 100 million , all these three indexes reached a new high. And the park was awarded as the only “Small and Micro Businesses Venture Base” in Ningbo that year.
